Class times weekends are 12pm until 4pm with regular reflective breaks, we aspire to have a healthy culture for learning and ask for good energy and concentration in class.
Mobile phones are to be kept on silent/vibrate during learning time but if you are expecting an urgent call, please let your Acting Coach know at the beginning of the day. Outside this need, phones are not allowed to be used in class. Notation will be completed with pen and paper unless you have a preference.
When classes are being operated, there is mainly one rule to stick by which is feedback will only come from the acting coach and not the classroom. On average, you will receive 2 to 3 new skills for acting per class, there may be more on occasion however this is generally the case in relation to learning with effective demonstration from the member. Mastering / repeated skills are also used to maintain and evolve performance levels.
We aim to film all performances with member consent which will be uploaded to the password protected Academy website film hub where each member can analyse each performances and discuss with the Academy coach.
Payment terms
The deposit is to assist in reducing your monthly premium and part of the total amount.
This agreement can be paused or cancelled without penalty with one month’s notice. Additionally if
membership is cancelled during the 12-month period, the deposit will be refunded on a pro rata basis, for
example if cancelation is on the 6-month including notice, half the deposit will be returned.
Payments are made on the 1st of each month in advance unless the starting date is mid-month or the member has a preferred payment date within the first week of the month.
If the membership continues after 12 months, the monthly rate will remain the same.
